In the world of Dew, a young sporeling named Myric lives peacefully among the flourishing forests, where everything is connected by an intricate mycelium network. This network serves as the foundation of their ecosystem, maintaining balance and harmony throughout the land.

However, their tranquil existence is shattered when a sinister entity emerges from the depths of their world, spreading a devastating creeping mold that corrupts and destroys everything in its path. Myric’s home falls victim to this malevolent force, forcing them to embark on an unexpected journey.

During their escape, Myric encounters Dewey, a peculiar luminescent creature with extraordinary abilities. Dewey and Myric discovers that their combined abilities might be the key to stopping  the destruction. Together, they form an unlikely but powerful alliance.

As they venture deeper into the infected regions, Myric and Dewey discover that the evil force is systematically destroying the mycelium network through its creeping mold, severing the vital connections that sustain their world. With Dewey’s power to purify corrupted areas and Myric’s growing abilities, they begin their quest to stop the destruction.

The duo journeys through diverse landscapes, from lush summer forests to frozen wastelands, solving environmental puzzles and healing the broken mycelium connections. As they progress, they unlock new abilities and discover the true extent of their combined power.

Explore a world inspired by the beauty of nature seen from a macro perspective.

Utilize the symbiotic skills of Myric and Dewey to traverse the world and overpower enemies.

Fight enemies infected by the creeping mold. Solve puzzles to restore the environment.

Dewey does not resemble any known creature from the home forest, making its presence unusual and difficult to understand. Its appearance and abilities do not align with the natural life cycle that Myric and the other sporelings are familiar with.   Despite this initial wariness, Dewey proves to have no harmful intent. Instead, it possesses unique abilities, including powerful healing techniques that surpass anything Myric has seen before. While sporelings rely on the forest’s natural balance to sustain life, Dewey can actively restore and mend what has been damaged, making it an invaluable ally against the rising dark forces threatening the land.   Once Myric realizes that Dewey is not an enemy but a potential ally, the two form an unlikely partnership. Dewey’s abilities, combined with Myric’s knowledge of the forest and connection to the complex underground mycelium networks , give them a real chance of standing against the growing evil. As they travel together, Myric begins to understand that Dewey, though different, is not something to be feared but rather a key to restoring balance.

Myric is a sporeling. A small, sentient mushroom creature native to its home forest.

Like all sporelings, it shares a symbiotic connection with the ecosystem and helps maintain its balance with help of a vast mycelium network. Each day, Myric tends to fungi, spreads spores, and assists elder sporelings in sustaining their environment.

Sporelings are peaceful creatures who thrive through cooperation and adaptation. Myric embodies these traits, showing patience and resourcefulness when dealing with forest disturbances. With its knowledge of local flora and fungi, it understands their uses for growth, healing, and nourishment. Like most sporelings, Myric stays within familiar territory and follows a simple routine, avoiding unnecessary risks.

Despite this predictable existence, Myric harbors a quiet curiosity about the world beyond the forest. Yet, like other sporelings, it remains faithful to the traditions of its kind.
